Are Boys & Girls Separated?​

We separate boys and girls in most of our sessions because we have found there to be a difference in their ability to be attentive. We want the boys and girls to have a phenomenal YLP experiene at the age when they are most likely to benefit.

IS THIS A MENTORING PROGRAM?

We do not mentor the children one on one, but we do make every attempt to teach the entire group, follow up with the individual participants and
WHAT IS THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS?

After you submit the application, we do interviews with the parents and their young scholar. Acceptance letters are sent out based on the application and interview. There's no need to worry about the interview process, we are truly looking for kids who want to be there and parents who share the vision. We encourage all potential participants to just be themselves.
WHAT ROLE DOES CHRISTIANITY PLAY IN YLP?

YLP was founded as a ministry of Turning Point Family Worship Center in 2014. We are a Christian organization. We remain true to our Christian foundation and we are based out of Turning Point Family Worship Center. We do not teach the Scriptures at our sessions, but we do demonstrate them in the way we address the children, interact with the parents and treat each other. Biblical principles are the foundation of everything we do.
